Tomorrow a day that I will say I love you
Though I've said I love you many days before this one
Flowers and trees in cartoons decorate the TV
But the outside is where our love will find its home in the sun
It seems like feelings should show
But the air is much more silent
It's nice to find some hopefulness this year
The blades of grass will reach up and fill the gaps between my toes
And between the little problematic things

It might make me feel like leaves in the spring
Come one, come all, and come gather all around me
For I'll attempt to patch this hole that's in my head
I'll find a more creative way to take you inside
Because I'll have much more time to share with care for me
Innate behavior so the year is much less silent
We'll shape the vinyl flower in the afternoon
And you'll be there to plant it underneath the needle
And then shape your hands to say I love you too
